The Pelican Files!

 

Ever since I moved to Florida from New Jersey the wild life had my attention!  Upon moving into our new home and being welcomed by the relentless calling of a Limpkin which had perched in the palm tree outside our bedroom window that first night I knew that Florida's rich birdlife abounded and surrounded - and being married to author Roger Hammond, nature lover and bird watcher extraordinaire, I had the opportunity to truly become immersed into the lives of herons, egrets, pelicans, bitterns, grackles, cranes, vultures, gulls, storks, sandpipers and many more varieties.  I surprise myself at my ability to identify all the different species of herons and pride myself on knowing the subtle differences - and also have a chuckle to myself thinking of how their individual personalities have been captured in Roger's books "The Pelican Files".  I hope many of you will purchase these books and experience the joy that reading them brings - AND, a percentage of the proceeds goes towards specific wildlife causes, so in addition to having a good read and laugh-out-loud moments, you'll feel good knowing these wonderful organizations are being helped.  I hope you enjoy these books as much as I do!  Click on the covers to buy your copies today!!  Thank you!
